India's Nehru

India's Nehru is an initiative of the Mumbai Congress' Social Media Department that began on February 27th, 2020, exactly three months before the 56th death anniversary of India's first prime minister and one of its most loved sons.

What began as a social media campaign to inspire more people, especially the young blood, to get to know Pandit Nehru not in letter but also in spirit is now present for all in the form of a website. This website is a repository of anecdotes, quotes, videos and other materials on the life, times and ideas of Pandit Ji.
 

The India's Nehru initiative aims to look at Nehru - the person - through the eyes of his contemporaries - friends and opposition alike; and his vision and actions for shaping a better India.
 

A variety of sources - books, magazines, websites, newspapers, archives, videos, etc. have been drawn upon to put this together. We are thankful to the original creators and curators for the remarkable material put out for its supreme archival value.
